As expected, the Board of Elementary and Secondary education today approved the state takeover of 10 public schools, despite the fact that many of those have been improving, and have test scores higher than some which were not taken.
As Associated Press reporter Melinda DesLatte writes here, the takeover did not go as smoothly as some might have wished.
